Introduction

In this blog I plan to post listings of bands and artists from certain countries, areas or cities in the world. The size of the area will depend on my ability to find good music in that area. The English-speaking world will be covered much more broadly than other areas, since music from those areas is most familiar to me. Hopefully I can make some great listings from other areas as well though.

I will post listings in no particular order. Just in an order that comes to mind. I will make playlists of the best songs from those bands and artists and tell a little bit about them. I will also try to explain what my personal views are on those bands. I aim to present only the kind of music I really like. Some bands only have couple of good songs, some have various albums full of amazing music. I try to get as many great artists and bands in as possible, but still only post things that I really like.

It's sometimes difficult to say, where a particular artist comes from, because people tend to move from place to place. I try to focus on the place where the artists in question started their musical career. With bands, I add them to places where they were founded. If I'm mistaken about origin of some bands or artists, please correct me.
